The Training Process
We offer private, in-home dog training programs throughout the Richmond area. During our first lesson, your dog trainer will visit your home and observe your dog’s behaviors, as well as, the interactions they have with your family.We will analyze each factor, assess the root causes and discern how each issue has been developed over time. A customized training program will be created to fit both your family, and your dog’s needs. In the initial lessons, you will learn and practice hands-on skills to improve both the communication and relationship between you and your dog. Most behavioral issues stem from the lack of communication and bond between both parties. We will make that change! Once these skills are improved, you will start to see drastic behavioral changes in your dog. Furthermore, in later lessons we will take the training to a public place for you and your companion to test your new skills. By training with multiple distractions and in the toughest situations, we will develop a well rounded, properly trained dog. This will give you the confidence to take your dog anywhere!
