James River Dog Training offers proven basic obedience training, puppy training and behavior modification training. Our dog obedience classes are always part of every program we offer. In order to have a well-trained dog, you need have to solid commands like sit, down, heel, stay and come when called. We will also train advanced skills so you can take your dog anywhere even with distractions!

Here at James River Dog Training we offer in-home, one-on-one training sessions to not only teach your dog foundational skills, we will work on physical and mental stimulation, too. Our expert dog trainer will teach you how to have effective communcation so you can improve your dog’s training and prevent any behavioral problems from developing.
